Ingredients

  • 1 cup whey protein powder vanilla or chocolate
  • 1/2 cup almond flour or oat flour for a higher-carb option
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder optional for chocolate flavor
  • 1/4 cup stevia or monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs or flax eggs for a vegan option
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or any dairy-free alternative
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: sugar-free glaze dark chocolate drizzle, crushed nuts, or coconut flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease your donut molds with non-stick spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: protein powder, almond flour, cocoa powder (if using), sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, almond milk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  • Pour the batter into the donut molds, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the donuts cool for 5 minutes in the molds, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Optional: Decorate the donuts with a sugar-free glaze, dark chocolate drizzle, or toppings of your choice.
