Instructions
 

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Melt Base: In a saucepan, gently heat peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and butter until melted and smooth. Stir constantly to avoid burning.
  • Combine Oats: Remove from heat and gradually mix in the oats until fully coated. Add optional ingredients like chocolate chips, seeds, or dried fruits at this stage.
  • Prepare Tray: Pour the mixture into the lined baking tray and press down firmly with a spatula to create an even layer.
  • Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
  • Cool and Cut: Allow the flapjacks to cool completely in the tray before cutting into squares or bars.
