Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados about 400 grams – Ensure they are perfectly ripe for a smooth texture.
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder 25 grams – Opt for high-quality cocoa or raw cacao for a deeper flavor.
  • ¼ cup maple syrup 60 ml – Natural sweetener to balance the bitterness of the cocoa.
  • ¼ cup almond milk 60 ml – Helps to create a silky texture. You can substitute with oat milk or coconut milk.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – Adds depth of flavor.
  • Pinch of salt – Enhances the sweetness and flavor of the mousse.

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Avocados: Cut the avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh into a blender or food processor.
  • Add Cocoa and Sweeteners: Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until everything is well combined and smooth.
  • Blend with Almond Milk: Slowly add the almond milk and blend until the mousse is silky smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more almond milk if needed.
  • Chill and Serve: Transfer the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve with toppings like shaved dark chocolate, fresh berries, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder for garnish.
